HR Business Partner
Seeking a strategic Chief Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness in Austin, TX.
Overview:
– We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Business Partner (IC5) to join our team in Austin, TX! In this role, you will be responsible for leading HR initiatives and partnering with senior leadership within Emerson’s Test & Measurements Global Business Units, to help drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management. You will play a critical role in shaping our HR strategy and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels and would be part of a collaborative and talented HR Business partner organization!
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
– Partner with senior leadership to provide HR programmatic support, thought partnership, coaching, and strategic HR guidance.
– Provide data-informed insights that drive strategic decisions for each Business Unit’s people and culture strategy.
– Lead talent management efforts, including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development in conjunction with internal and external COEs.
– Drive employee engagement initiatives to cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
– Support the management of compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
– Partner closely with Functional and Geographic HR partners on global strategy and execution.
– Ensure the effective management of employee relations and the provision of mentorship on complex HR issues, as well as compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
– Participate as an integral member of the Functional HRBP team and the extended HR community.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
– Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
– Solid knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
– Proven experience in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to think strategically and implement effectively.
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Experience interpreting data to generate insights that inform decision-making and drive strategic action.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
– HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
– Experience working in a global organization.
– Proven track record of leading HR initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Strong project management skills.
– Ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders.
