AUTMHQ is offering a dynamic, unpaid internship designed to give aspiring professionals a well-rounded view of how a mission-driven innovation organization operates. Interns will rotate through five key departments—Technology & Innovation, Workforce Development, Operations, Development & Grants, and Executive Leadership—working on real-world projects, gaining critical experience, and developing skills that cut across disciplines.

Departments & Responsibilities:

Technology & Innovation

1. Assist with web and app development projects
2. Conduct basic security and network research
3. Participate in tech stack planning and deployment
4. Contribute to tech-based solutions like AI tools, CTF platforms, and internal dashboards

Workforce Development

1. Support learner pathways, digital literacy, and mentorship matching systems
2. Help manage data for Coursera and LMS integrations
3. Assist with career board updates and tech talent matchmaking initiatives

Operations

1. Shadow operations leadership and contribute to project planning
2. Assist in creating SOPs, internship playbooks, and tracking systems
3. Coordinate meeting logistics and track program deliverables

Development & Grants

1. Help identify and research grant opportunities
2. Draft fundraising decks, proposals, and partnership briefs
3. Track key impact metrics and success stories for reporting

Executive Leadership (COO, CTO, CEO)

1. Join select leadership meetings to observe decision-making and strategy
2. Assist with special projects such as tech planning, policy writing, or strategic communications
3. Create executive-ready presentations and briefs

Qualifications:

– Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Technology, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field
– Self-starter with strong communication, research, and organizational skills
– Experience or interest in tech, innovation, community impact, or nonprofit operations
– Familiarity with Google Workspace, Trello, Notion, or similar tools is a plus
– Commitment to equity, digital inclusion, and the mission of AUTMHQ
