Principal Hardware Analog Engineer

Required Qualifications:
– B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering Technology
– Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design Role or a Test Engineering Design Role
– US Person (US Citizen or Green Card ) ONLY, ability to work on ITAR projects and qualify for DoD Clearances
– Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics & computer architectures
– Understanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#)
– Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
– Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts and principles:
– Sources of measurement error
– Appropriate selection of test and measurement instrumentation and equipment
– Understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams
– Integration of hardware and software
– Bill of Materials creation and review
– Familiarity with CAD and PCB design tools
– Statistical analysis of data (Cp, Cpk, GR&R)
– Cable Harness Design
Preferred Qualifications:
– Hands on use of schematic capture tools and PCB design tools
– Knowledge in Component Supplier Selection
– Knowledge in Compliance Certifications (CE, UL, TUV, Etc.)
– Hands on use of NI Hardware Platforms and Instruments
– Hands on use of NI LabVIEW and Test Stand
