At Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ), interns don’t just clock in—they level up. As part of our paid internship program, young adults gain real-world experience by choosing from multiple departments tailored to their interests and future goals. Each intern has the opportunity to rotate through departments or dive deep into a focus area, building a dynamic skill set while contributing to high-impact projects that serve our mission.

🚀 Technology & Innovation

Explore the future of tech through hands-on work in:

IT Infrastructure, Help Desk & Network Deployment
Software Projects in Python, JavaScript, .NET, AI, and more
LMS system integration, Active Directory configuration, and cybersecurity CTF challenges
Startup Studio support: help launch new ventures, design innovation challenges, and organize tech-driven events like golf tournaments and fundraising campaigns
Hardware operations: participate in donation partnerships and tech inventory to support classrooms and training labs
Monthly revenue generation through business development, venture creation, and fundraising collaboration

We provide a range of career and education support services designed to help young adults take the next step toward a successful future. Our offerings include paid internships, job search assistance, resume and interview workshops, and personalized guidance from a dedicated career case manager. We also offer access to grant-funded job training programs and support with college applications and enrollment.

Services are provided by Goodwill Central Texas and funded by the Workforce Solutions – Capital Area Workforce Board. Goodwill does not operate or administer Workforce Solutions or the Capital Area Workforce system.
